We are very pleased to announce that Grunwald UK LTD have been appointed UK and Irish agents for Langguth Engineering who manufacture a range of labelling equipment.

The range includes hot melt labellers, wet glue labellers, self adhesive labellers as well as a series of pail handling equipment.

Langguth already have successful installations in the UK and we will provide spares and service support to existing customers as well as handling all new machine projects.

ETT - A PERFECT PARTNER FOR END OF LINE PACKING SYSTEMS

Increasingly we are asked to offer a complete turn key system rather than simply supplying a Grunwald Cup Filling and Sealing Machine. For projects like this we recommend and work with ETT who specialise in end of line packaging solutions.

In an existing installation Grunwald supplied a Rotary 12000 Filling and Sealing Machine capable of filling and sealing 500 gram pots of yoghurt at 140 pots a minute. ETT then provided a packing solution which packed the individual pots into trays which had also been erected by the ETT system.

In other applications ETT have taken filled containers packed them into trays, sealed the tray and then palletised the trays.

GRUNWALD FLEXODOS; WE HANDLE NON-PUMPABLE PRODUCTS AS WELL

The Grunwald FLEXODOS is a bulk filler for products which are non-pumpable, difficult to dose, dry, unbound etc. Current applications include:-

· Greek Salad.
· Mushroom Salad.
· Small meat pieces.
· Grated Cheese.
· Vegetables.
· Pasta and Noodles.
· Rice.
· Potato Pieces

The Grunwald FLEXODOS can be used as a mobile or stationary dosing machine in combination with Grunwald Filling and Sealing machines, Thermoforming Machines, Ready Meal Lines, Jar Machines.

The product is fed to the system via a lifting/tilting device or an ascending conveyor belt. The product then sits in a distribution hopper which feeds the products into vibratory channels.

A dosing chamber is then used to measure the correct volume of product, the product is then filled into the container guaranteeing that the rim of the container remains clean.

The FLEXODOS system is capable of the following:-

· 35 cycles per minute.
· 1 to 4 lanes.
· Dosing Volume - 20ccm to 1,800ccm

Grunwald @ Anuga

We at Grunwald would like to thank the customers who visited our stand at the recent Anuga Foodtec show in Cologne. The show proved to be a great success with Grunwald demonstrating a variety of machines, including a Rotary 6000 with Grunwald’s unique Mobifill removable filling system.

Also on the stand was our latest design of bucket filling system which uses the same servo technology as the Flexliner machine and is able to handle a variety of packaging with very quick changeover times.

Flexliner the Ultimate Labour Saver

Grunwald’s Flexliner range of machines are proving to be a successful way of automating previously manual lines. In the salads industry machines have reduced the labour requirement by up to 25 people.

The Flexliner allows for several different sizes and shapes of packaging to be used on one line with a very low change over time. This is achieved by holding the containers with laser cut format plates, the distance between the plates adjusts at the press of a button to hold to the new container size.

Typical applications include layered salads, ready meals, confectionery and dairy applications.

Lines are typically provided with Grunwald’s range of filling systems, including our Flexodos pocket filling system suitable for non-pumpable products with light dressings such as Pasta and Vegetables.

Full CIP compatible wet filling systems can also be incorporated into the machine and we can even supply a full Ultraclean version of the machines.
